Awaiting Discharge - Company Photo

 

In the spring and summer of 1919 American Soldiers were coming home to America to return to civilian life. The Photo below was taken shortly after they docked in New York, and was taken by the Manhattan News Service. The 17th company was formerly named Company E, the name had changed back in the summer of 1918. The source of this photo was contributed by Paulette Gooch.
