My great uncle Leon N. Sauer was a survivor of the Tuscania sinking. I remember my grandfather Frederick Kearney Sauer, telling me that he ran into his brother Leon walking down the street in Paris after being told he had died on the Tuscania. My grandfather was with the 101st Engineers.
