My Grandfather and his brother were
onboard the SS Tuscania when she sank. Both men survived. I have an old
newspaper photo showing Company E, 6th Battalion 20th US Forestry
Engineer's, dated Feb 5, 1918 Portland Oregon. Anyway, you have both my
Grandfather (Charles L. Hall), and Grand Uncle (Wallace W. Hall), listed in
Company F, of the 20th Engineer's. They were in fact in Company E. Both were
loggers in their early years. My Grandfather was a Clark County Commissioner
in the 40's.
